A Sleek Spin on your Corporate Cocktail PartyChampagne and Hotdogs was ecstatic to design a blind Champagne, white and red wine tasting for a group of 90 hard-working and stunning co-workers on Fifth Avenue in NYC. Our modern decor included over 175 wine bottles, candles and mirrored runners. We added a little competitive edge asking our guests to vote which wine at each station they thought was the more expensive product. Champagne and Hotdogs also provided our signature, whimsical appetizers - Dates stuffed with creamy Gorgonzola, Marinated bocconcini di Mozzarella skewers, Garlic toasts with filet mignon, Miniature hotdogs with spicy mustard, and an array of sweets including chocolate-dipped shortbread, vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, butter tarts and coconut macaroons.
This event, in such grand scale and dramatic aesthetic, was our most gorgeous yet. |

How to Host a Blind Tasting at Home (wieners & wine-style)We receive so many inquiries from other young, wine-curious people who want to get in on all our fun! Who wouldn't? For those of you who love the juice, but don't quite wish to be bothered with vinification or geographical regions, we offer a blind tasting bootcamp. Our DIY decor and flair for this event revolved around some empty bottles from your recycling bin, a quart of chalkboard paint, some flowers from the deli and a guest-list of friends from a local retailer! We brought our basics to pair up with fun, easy-drinking, middle of the week wines and had an absolute blast.
Our guests learned how to host a wine event at home just like this one, how to teach their friends the basics of wine , and how to keep things fun and festive - never bland or boring - all without breaking the bank. We'll drink to that. |
